Brothers,
Having friends at Virginia Tech, I have been following the tragedy that took place since early Monday morning. I had contact the president of our Zeta Chapter there expressing our desire to aid in anyway possible and concern for our brothers and their friends.
The president emailed me this:
Brothers,

Thank you for your concerns, all of the brothers of Virginia Zeta are accounted for. We appreciate all of the support we have received from chapters across the country, including yours. We are doing our best today to show support and respect for the events that occurred this morning, and the impact they have had on the victims families, the student body, and the university itself.

Sincerely,
T.J. Brennan
Virginia Zeta

Our hearts are with you all.
Amici,
Cory Deist...

Laurel Hall Grand Opening

Brothers,

The grand opening of Laurel Hall, the new home of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, will take place in Indianapolis on June 17th. I had made plans to attend to celebrate the opening and see everyone I know on staff, but now it looks like I may have to go back anyway to present a grand to the Endowment Fund. I am hoping to load a car full of people to help offset the cost of gas and we would most likely be staying at one of the chapter houses nearby so we don't have to pay for a hotel. Since the drive is 9-10 hours, the tentative plan is to leave Friday in th early afternoon and leave Sunday morning. If anyone would like to go, please let me know!

-Micah...

New Residency Policy

April 28, 2006
Dear Students:

I am writing to tell you about three developments that will greatly enhance the social and residential environment on campus. First, work will begin in May on an exciting new residential and retail complex on Harrisburg Avenue called College Row that will allow us to dramatically expand our on campus residential capacity. Second, we plan to construct the first of the College House commons, the Ware College House at North Ben, which will open in January 2007. Third, we have adopted a four-year residency policy.
